Narayan Das Educational Society is a registered charity organization formed in 1991, that is committed to the advancement of education, technical training, and community development.


Narayan Das Educational Society was founded by Dr. Prem Chandra Consul, Professor of Mathematics & Statistics who was invited as a pioneer to start the department of Mathematics and Statistics at University of Calgary in 1967. He was a true nationalist and also a freedom fighter for India.


Dr. P.C. Consul started the charitable society to honor the impact that his grandfather Narayan Das had on his life. He lived by the motto of simple living and high thinking for his entire life. He did multiple projects in both India and Canada. His charm and personality inspired and motivated everyone he came in contact with to do their best, to be disciplined and persistent.


Our mission: Empower individuals in underdeveloped and developing regions by providing access to skills, scholarships, vocational programs, and health knowledge.
